We have an exciting opportunity for a Leather Cutter to join our growing team manufacturing luxury interiors for some of the world’s most exclusive and ultra-premium car programmes.

We are partners on ultra-premium, low-volume programmes delivering vehicle programmes for the ultra-exclusive, ultra-high-value automotive sector for automotive brands such as Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Ford GT, Aston Martin, Pininfarina, Gordon Murray and many more on such vehicles as, amongst others, the Mercedes AMG-ONE, Pininfarina’s Battista and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Pro.
In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
Roles and Responsibilities
This role is based at our Witham engineering facility.
- Ensure products meet design specifications, tolerances and customer quality standards
- Be competent in maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to changing requirements at short notice
- Maintain a professional, accountable, proactive and helpful attitude at all times
- Have a strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude
- Perform rework or repairs on defective items
- Liaise with other technicians to achieve desired product finishes
Skills and Experience Required
- Must be able to understand and work to a schedule
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to craftmanship ensuring we adhere to customer quality guidelines
- Work well within a small team
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times
- Proven experience in leather automotive environment would be desirable
- Proficiency with leather handling techniques
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, work orders etc
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of workplace safety
Salary
£12.71 – £13.00 dependant on skills and experience.
Additional Information
Shift Information
Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm
Overtime
Overtime is available dependent upon successfully completing probation and the requirements of the business.
