About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality HR administration and systems support across the HR function. The HR Administrator will manage routine HR queries and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant administration throughout the employee lifecycle. The role will maintain data integrity, support HR systems and process improvements, and provide reliable HR information to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the HR function.

In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and professional HR administration support across the employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, and employee records.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, responding promptly and escalating matters where appropriate.
- Prepare and issue employment documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and changes to terms and conditions.
- Coordinate new starter and onboarding administration, ensuring all required documentation and pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
- Support sickness absence and other employee lifecycle processes, ensuring records are maintained accurately and consistently.
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems, ensuring data is accurate, current, and complete.
- Support the effective use and ongoing development of HR systems, identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Compile and validate payroll information, including starters, leavers, salary changes, and absence data, and liaise with the Payroll Team to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Produce standard and ad-hoc HR reports and provide accurate employee data to support the HR Team and wider business.
- Conduct regular HR file and data audits, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Manage the HR administration mailbox, responding to queries and triaging requests to the appropriate member of the HR Team.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation are completed in line with relevant legislation, internal policies, and agreed timescales.
- Provide administrative support for HR meetings, including preparing documentation and taking accurate and confidential notes or minutes where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, systems, and ways of working.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Confident user of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook and PowerPoint
- Technically confident in using HR systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate data, streamline processes, and reduce manual workloads
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative
- Methodical, organised, and highly detail-oriented approach to work
- Reliable and conscientious, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or HR support role
- Experience maintaining employee records and HR documentation
- Exposure to core HR processes across the employee life cycle
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Customer service or employee-facing experience is an advantage
- Exposure to payroll data preparation or payroll coordination is desirable
- Good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements in an HR context
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable
- HR, Business Administration, or a related qualification advantageous
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in HR or employment law
Additional Expectations
The role requires a flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to business needs. While the key responsibilities cover the main duties of the role, additional tasks aligned with the general scope and level of responsibility may be required.
Salary
£30,000 dependant on skills and experience.

Shift Information
Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm
Overtime
Overtime is available dependant upon successfully completing probation and the requirements of the business.
