We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted as an East of England finalist for this year’s National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards in the category of ‘Apprenticeship Employer of the Year’.
Apprenticeships are close to our heart. Many of our experienced workforce have themselves benefitted from apprenticeships early in their careers and vouch for just how effective they are in developing knowledge, skills and careers, both for individuals and for the organisation.
It naturally follows that we at TECNIQ are very committed to providing opportunities for people to develop their career path with us, providing the support and structure for growing experience and for valuable formal qualifications.
Nigel Lempriere, TECNIQ CEO, said “We take apprenticeship programmes seriously at TECNIQ, because we feel an environment like this one offers the next generation a wonderful chance to learn some of the best and the brightest in the industry on the world’s most amazing vehicle development programmes. But we also benefit from their presence, from their inquisitiveness, and their willingness to think outside the box. It goes both ways, which is why we’re always on the lookout for young, ambitious students ready to take the next step in this crucial stage of their career.”
The National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards
The National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards, now in its 21st year, recognise excellence in businesses that foster their own talent through apprenticeships and T Levels, as well as apprentices and students who have made significant contributions to their workplaces and individuals who go above and beyond to champion skills.
Our Apprenticeship Programme
Tony Smith, TECNIQ COO said “We’re very proud of what TECNIQ offers as a company. Working on some of the most exclusive premium vehicles in the world offers constant, fresh challenges, and these challenges are accepted with relish by the hard-working, immensely talented employees that power the business.”
TECNIQ’s apprenticeship programme helps bright young minds to develop their knowledge and engineering skills within a fabulous environment; engineering programmes and experienced colleagues.
It also provides apprentices with real-world experience of working on exciting automotive vehicle development programmes that employ some of the most exotic materials and technology used in the industry. This provides students with the formal knowledge, the real-world opportunity and the support they need to succeed and develop their engineering careers.
