TECNIQ has experienced remarkable growth over the past few years.
Demand for our services is high and we have gone from strength to strength. Increasingly complex and rewarding design, engineering and manufacturing solutions for well-known, luxury car brands and their exclusive, low-volume, ultra-premium cars programmes.
Some of the most amazing cars in the world!
Nigel Lempriere, CEO at TECNIQ, said:
“We have always had a singular vision. To provide best-in-class design, engineering and manufacturing solutions on what are some of the most incredible vehicle programmes in the world.
And to provide these solutions in a way that delivers significant advantages to our customers in terms of supply chain, programme management, lead time and cost efficiencies.
That’s why we are relied on by some of the world’s most exclusive car makers for their most incredible products, products that wow the world, their halo vehicles.”
Investing in our Facilities
We’re expanding, blooming, booming and improving!
We are proud to be a full-service supplier, somewhat unique in the world of halo vehicle development. Our fully integrated campus is home to design, engineering and manufacturing departments, with all their various sub-departments.
Our goal is to be innovative in our engineering solutions and how we deliver programmes and services to our valued customers. Keeping everything in-house allows us to maintain control and minimise friction, delivering significant advantages in lead times and cost efficiencies for our customers.
And we don’t stand still.
We are currently building and outfitting new facilities to expand key departments, including research and development, testing, assembly, 3D printing, and logistics. This growth will double our available floor space.
Tony Smith, COO at TECNIQ said:
“Complex, ultra-premium vehicle programmes are highly demanding. Despite their high unit value, they must be delivered cost-efficiently for our customers, requiring meticulous management.
That’s why we’ve prioritised excellence not only in engineering but also in the development of our campus. Our interconnected departments are expanding, and we continue to invest in solutions that streamline supply chains and minimise program management friction for our customers. This commitment lies at the core of our investment in TECNIQ.”
Investing in our Machinery and Equipment
Investment is critical to our position as a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier.
In our latest upgrade, we installed a state-of-the-art, 100-tonne press, which forms the centrepiece of an upgraded composites department. This enables us to manufacture highly complex components – major elements of our customers’ hypercar programmes – with even more pace and precision.
On a crisp, sunny November day, the press arrived via container-lift lorry. It was extracted and lifted by crane and supported by a heavy-weight forklift. Somewhat of a spectacle, several staff ventured out to witness the challenging process, revelling in the impressive new machinery.
Gavin Craven, Operations Manager at TECNIQ said:
“We’re excited to get the new press up and running. It will ensure we can continue to output the highest quality product and streamline our process.”
Investing in our People
The most vital piece of the TECNIQ puzzle is undoubtedly our people. As a creative and technology-driven business, our team is at the core of everything we deliver to our customers
Over the last 3 months, we have increased our headcount by 20% seeing growth in many departments: health and safety, composites, quality, assembly, logistics, design, CNC, purchasing, human resources, marketing and our paint shop, to name a few.
We are passionate about playing our role in the local economy, providing a range of employment pathways for people at various stages of their careers:
